("REC >TAPE" and the frequency will flash alternately on the display.) * In step 3, set the time when you want to begin recording. * In step 4, set the time when you want to finish recording. 4 Press TIMER. This system will be set to the standby mode. * The STANDBY and TIMER indicators light up. To cancel the setting of timer recording Press DISPLAY once or more so that "REC >TAPE" flashes on the display. While "REC >TAPE" is flashing, press REC/ PAUSE. Note When the timer recording is finished, the timer setting is automatically canceled. Sleep timer operation This system will automatically be set to the standby mode when the selected sleep time passes. 1 Play the desired sound source. 2 Press SLEEP repeatedly until the desired sleep time appears on the display. The display will change as described below. 2h00m 1h30m 1h00m 0h30m OFF SLEEP (Sleep timer is off.) * The normal display mode will resume about 4 seconds after the selection is made. * "SLEEP" will light up on the display.
