Using the built-in timer DISC1 DISC2 DISC3 DISC CHANGE OPEN/CLOSE 3-DISC CD CHANGER STANDBY / ON STANDBY TIMER INPUT PRESET/TUNING/BAND A/B/C/D/E / DIGITAL AUDIO PROGRAM B.BOOST MUSIC UP DOWN VOLUME PHONES BASS TREBLE MODE DOLBY NR REC/ PAUSE AUTO/ MANUAL MEMORY RANDOM REPEAT TIME DISPLAY TIMER TIME ADJ HOUR MIN REC/PAUSE TIMER DISPLAY REC/PAUSE TAPE REC/ PAUSE TEST - LEVEL CENTER / REAR/ DELAY PROGRAM MUSIC SLEEP SLEEP INPUT VOLUME Timer recording 1 Follow steps 2-3 of "Basic recording" on page 26. 2 Tune in to the station you want to record. 3 Follow step 1 of "Timer play" on page 37. * In step 2, select "TUNER", and then press REC/PAUSE. ("REC >TAPE" and the frequency will flash alternately on the display.) * In step 3, set the time when you want to begin recording. * In step 4, set the time when you want to finish recording. 4 Press TIMER. This system will be set to the standby mode. * The STANDBY and TIMER indicators light up. To cancel the setting of timer recording Press DISPLAY once or more so that "REC >TAPE" flashes on the display. While "REC >TAPE" is flashing, press REC/ PAUSE. Note When the timer recording is finished, the timer setting is automatically canceled. Sleep timer operation This system will automatically be set to the standby mode when the selected sleep time passes. 1 Play the desired sound source. 2 Press SLEEP repeatedly until the desired sleep time appears on the display. The display will change as described below. 2h00m 1h30m 1h00m 0h30m OFF SLEEP (Sleep timer is off.) * The normal display mode will resume about 4 seconds after the selection is made. * "SLEEP" will light up on the display.
