X To connect a video device to the unit with a component video cable and a digital optical cable, use "Input Assignment" (p.158) in the "Setup" menu to assign the COMPONENT VIDEO and OPTICAL jacks to the same input source. ■ Composite video connection Connect a video device to the unit with a video pin cable and an audio cable (digital coaxial, digital optical, or stereo pin cable). Choose a set of input jacks (on the unit) depending on the audio output jacks available on your video device. Component video connection

Connect a video device to the unit with a component video cable and an audio cable (digital

coaxial or stereo pin cable). Choose a set of input jacks (on the unit) depending on the audio

output jacks available on your video device.

If you select the input source by pressing AV 1-2 on the remote control, the video/audio played

back on the video device will be output from the unit.
