Functions Settings TRANSPOSE +5 +6 OCTAVE For shifting the pitch of the keyboard up or down by one octave. Value: -2 - +2 Default: Depends on the Voice Shift one octave below Default Shift one octave above BATTERY TYPE Selects the type of batteries installed to this instrument. Low pitch beep indicates "dry cell," high pitch indicates "rechargeable." Settings: Dry cell (for alkaline, manganese batteries) / Rechargeable (for rechargeable Ni-MH batteries) Default: Dry cell AUTO POWER OFF Specifies the time that elapses before the instrument's power is automatically turned off. Low pitch beep indicates "off," high pitch indicates "on." Settings: On (30 minutes), Off Default: On (30 minutes) TUNING You can fine-tune the pitch of the entire instrument in roughly 0.2 Hz steps. Value: 427.0 Hz to 453.0 Hz (-65 cents to 65 cents) Default: 440.0 Hz (00) NOTE Tuning does not affect the Drum Voices (page 36). Default: Medium Fix: Variation in key touches does not produce change in output notes. Soft: Slight variation in key touches produces change in output notes. Medium: Moderate variation in key touches produces change in output notes. Hard: Large enough variation in key touches produces change in output notes. USB MIDI Switches MIDI transmission/reception on and off. Low pitch beep indicates "off," high pitch indicates "on." Default: Off (when equipped with Bluetooth functionality) On (when not equipped with Bluetooth functionality) NOTE • MIDI data will be transmitted/received via Bluetooth when this is set to Off. • Refer to page 9 to check whether or not your keyboard is equipped with Bluetooth functionality.
