Changing parameter settings You can enjoy high quality sound with the factory-set parameters. Although you do not have to change the initial settings, you can change some of the parameters to better suit the input source or your listening room. Use the remote control to make adjustments. y • It is advisable to use on-screen display when changing the settings. TV VOL CH - PRESET TV MUTE SELECT TV VOL - CH + PRESET y • When you set the parameter to a value other than the factoryset value, an asterisk mark (*) appears by the parameter name on the video monitor. To reset to the factory-set value, press j / i repeatedly until the asterisk mark disappears. 6 Repeat steps 3 to 5 above as necessary to change other program parameters. Notes • For some of the programs, the available parameters may be displayed on more than one OSD page. To scroll through pages, press u / d. • You cannot change parameter values when "OPTION 2 MEM. GUARD" on the set menu is set to ON. Memory back-up The memory back-up circuit prevents the stored data from being lost even if this unit is set in standby mode, the power cord is disconnected from the AC outlet, or the power supply is temporarily cut due to power failure. However, if the power is cut for more than one week, the parameter value you edited will return to the factory setting. If this happens, edit the parameter value again.
