Making settings on the computer > Surround settings on the computer Surround settings on the computer To configure the audio on your Windows computer to play back in surround sound with the ZG02, edit the sound output settings on your computer. On the Mac, this is configured automatically by following the channel format of the application being used. Enabling 7.1 ch surround playback on Windows 1 From the Windows Start button, open "Settings", and then go to "System" > "Sounds". 2 Open the "Sound control panel". For Windows 10: select "Sound control panel". For Windows 11: select "More sound settings". 3 Select "Speakers (Yamaha ZG02)" in the "Playback" tab, and click the "Configure" button. The configuration selection screen appears. 4 In "Audio channels", select "7.1 Surround". 5 Select all checkboxes for "Optional speakers". 6 Select all checkboxes for "Full-range speakers". 7 Click "Finish." Surround settings on the computer
To configure the audio on your Windows computer to play back in surround sound with the ZG02, edit the
sound output settings on your computer.
On the Mac, this is configured automatically by following the channel format of the application being used.
Enabling 7.1 ch surround playback on Windows

From the Windows Start button, open “Settings”, and then go to “System” >
“Sounds”.

Open the “Sound control panel”.
For Windows 10: select “Sound control panel”.
For Windows 11: select “More sound settings”.

Select “Speakers (Yamaha ZG02)” in the “Playback” tab, and click the “Configure”
button.
The configuration selection screen appears.

In “Audio channels”, select “7.1 Surround”.

Select all checkboxes for “Optional speakers”.
