IP Address Pool Enter the pool of IP addresses that the VPN2S uses to assign to the PPTP VPN clients. Access LAN Group (optional) Keep Alive Timer Preferred DNS Server (Optional) Alternative DNS Server (Optional) Note: This is with a 24-bit netmask and should not conflict with any configured WAN, LAN, DMZ, WLAN, or L2TP VPN subnet even if they are not in use. Specify up to 2 LAN groups (subnets) which a PPTP VPN client is allowed to access. If none is specified, all LAN groups can be accessed. Enter the IP address and Subnet Mask for the LAN group(s). The VPN2S sends a Hello message after waiting this long without receiving any traffic from the remote user. The VPN2S disconnects the VPN tunnel if the remote user does not respond. Specify the IP addresses of DNS servers to assign to the remote users. You can choose from one of the DNS servers from the list, or choose User Defined to enter the static IP addresses for the first and second DNS servers manually. Specify the second DNS server address. Use this field to turn the VPN2S’s PPTP VPN function on or off.
