THERMOSTAT Engine coolant temperature is controlled by a thermostat in the engine coolant system. Thc thcrrnostat stops the flow of coolant through the radiator until the coolant reaches a preset temperature. If your thermostat needs to be replaced an AC@thermostat is recommended.
