BATTERY Every new Cadillac has a Delco Freedom@ battery. never have to add You water to oneof these. When it's time for a new battery, we recommend a one Delco Freedom@ battery. Get that has the replacement number shown on theoriginal battery's label. Whicle Storage If you're not going to drive your vehicle for 25 days or more, take the off black, negative (-) cable from the battery. Thiswill help keepyour battery from runningdown. Contact your dealer to learn to prepareyour vehicle for longer how storage periods. Battery Power Loss If you lose battery power or the battery is disconnected, your car's computer must be programmed. It takes just over 20 minutes to doit. If you want to do it yourself, here's how: 1. Apply the parking brake. 2. Make sure the frontwheels are straight. 3. Turn off the Electronic Climate Control. 4. Start theengine in PARK (P) and let it idle for 15 minutes. 5. Put your foot on the brake pedal,shift the transaxle to OVERDRIVE (@) and let it idle for three minutes or more.
