1-12 In Brief Reading Lamps There are reading lamps on the overhead console and over the rear passenger doors. These lamps come on when any door is opened. To manually turn the reading lamps on or off: . Exterior Lighting 3 : Turns on the headlamps together with the parking lamps and instrument panel lights. A warning chime sounds if the driver door is opened when the ignition switch is off and the headlamps are on. # : If equipped with fog lamps, press to turn the lamps on or off. See: . For the overhead console reading lamps, press the m or n next to each lamp. For the rear passenger reading lamps, press the lamp lens. . The exterior lamp control is on the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. Turn the control to the following positions: Briefly turn to this position to turn the automatic light control off or on again.
