Climate Control Recommended Settings for Heating 1 2 3 85 Adjust the fan speed to the center setting. Adjust the temperature control to the midway point of the hot settings. Select MIX using the air distribution control. Cooling the Interior Quickly 1 2 3 Adjust the fan speed to HI. Adjust the temperature control to COOL. Select MAX A/C using the air distribution control. Recommended Settings for Cooling 1 2 3 Adjust the fan speed to the second speed setting. Adjust the temperature control to the midway point of the cold settings. Select NORM A/C using the air distribution control. Vehicle Stationary for Extended Periods during Extreme High Ambient Temperatures 1 2 3 4 Apply the parking brake. Place the transmission in position P. Select MAX A/C using the air distribution control. Adjust the fan speed to LO. Side Window Defogging in Cold Weather 1 2 3 4 5 Adjust the air distribution control to NORM A/C. Adjust the temperature control to the desired setting. Adjust the fan speed to HI. Direct the instrument panel side air vents toward the side windows. Close the instrument panel vents.
