head restraint/headrest is removed, store it in a secure place. Be sure to reinstall the head restraint/headrest when the child restraint is removed. See "Head restraint/headrest adjustment" in this section for head restraint/headrest adjustment, removal and installation information. CENTER SEATING POSITION Remove the head restraint/headrest and po1 over the seatsition the top tether strap ᭺ back or adjust the head restraint/headrest to the lowest position and position the top tether strap over the head restraint/headrest. If the head restraint/headrest is removed, store it in a secure place. Be sure to reinstall the head restraint/headrest when the child restraint is removed. Secure the tether strap to the tether anchor 2 on the bottom of the seatback point ᭺ behind the child restraint. 3. Tighten the tether strap according to the manufacturer's instructions to remove any slack. Make sure the head restraint/headrest does not contact the top tether strap.
