Channel Width Control SideBand Channel Number Set channel width of wireless radio. Do not modify default value if you don't know what it is, default setting is '40 MHz'. Select the Upper or Lower band for your Control Sideband. While Upper band is selected, the channels you can select are from channel 5 to channel 11. While Lower band is selected, the channels you can select are from channel 1 to channel 7. 802.11n needs to use five continuous channels for high-speed transmission. Select a channel from the dropdown list of 'Channel Number' for broadcasting. You can choose any channel number you want to use, and almost all wireless clients can locate the channel you're using automatically without any problem. However, it's still useful to remember the channel number you use, some wireless client supports manual channel number selecting, and this would help in certain scenario when there is some radio communication problem.
