Enhanced Mode Support On [S-ATA ] The default setting SATA allows you to use native OS on Serial ATA and Parallel ATA ports. We recommend that you do not change the default setting for better OS compatibility. In this setting, you may use legacy OS on the Parallel ATA ports o n l y i f you did not install any Serial ATA device. The S-ATA+P-ATA and P-ATA options are for advanced users only. If you set to any of these options and encounter problems, revert to the default setting S A T A. Configuration options: [S-ATA+P-ATA] [S-ATA] [P-ATA] The E n h a n c e d M o d e S u p p o r t O n item appears only when the O n b o a r d I D E O p e r a t e M o d e item is set to [Enhanced Mode]. Combined Mode Option [Primary P-ATA +S-ATA] Allows you to choose the IDE ports to be used. Configuration options: [Primary P-ATA +S-ATA] [S-ATA only] [P-ATA only] The C o m b i n e d M o d e O p t i o n item appears only when the O n b o a r d I D E O p e r a t e M o d e is set to [Compatible Mode].
