" Enabled" for Windows XP and Linux 2.4.x (OS optimized for Hyper-Threading Technology). " Disable" for other OS (OS not optimized for Hyper-Threading Technology). The Choices: Enabled (default), Disabled. Quick Power On Self Test Enabling this option will cause an abridged version of the Power On Self-Test (POST ) to execute after you power up the computer.
