Make sure that the bend radius of the fiber optic cable is in accordance with the ! cable manufacturer's specifications when dressing the fiber optic cable. If an unterminated fiber optic cable is being used, a fitting may be used in the mounting foot of the camera housing. The fiber optic cable should be terminated with an ST connector in accordance with the connector manufacturer's recommendations. 6. Seal the hole in the mounting foot of the camera housing with RTV or an equivalent seal. See Figure 3.5. If a fitting was used in the mounting foot along with an unterminated fiber optic cable, apply the seal around the optical cable before tightening the fitting, to prevent slippage.
