Functions useful in improving sewing efficiency are described below.
Changing the needle stop
position
When the sewing machine is purchased, it is set to
leave the needle lowered in the fabric when sewing is
stopped. However, the machine can be set to instead
leave the needle raised when sewing is stopped.

Turn on the sewing machine.
The LCD comes on.

Press
(Needle stop position key).
(Needle stop position key) lights up,
and the machine is now set to stop with the
needle in the raised position.
• To return the machine to the setting where
the needle is stopped in the lowered position,
press
(Needle stop position key) until the
key is no longer lit.
• Even after the sewing machine is turned off,
the needle stop position setting is not
cancelled.

reverse or reinforcement stitches at the beginning and
