If you perform a print operation correctly but the output is blank, an ink tank may be out of ink. Perform the print head cleaning at least five times. If the output is still blank, replace the empty ink tank in the BC-21 Color BJ Cartridge. Leave the BJ cartridge in the printer when replacing an ink tank. Make sure the printer's power is on. Use both hands to grasp the sides of the cover and pull it forward. The printer beeps and moves the cartridge holder to the center of the printer. The POWER light blinks while the cartridge holder is positioned to the center of the printer.
