k Shooting Movies Notes for Both Autoexposure and Manual Exposure Shooting A movie file is recorded each time you shoot a movie. The image's field of view is approx. 99%. The sound will be recorded by the camera's built-in monaural microphone (p.142). Stereo sound recording is possible by connecting an external microphone (commercially available) equipped with a stereo mini plug (3.5mm dia.) to the camera's external microphone IN terminal (p.18). Movie-related settings are under the [n], [o], and [Z] menu tabs (p.157). With a fully-charged Battery Pack LP-E8, the total shooting time will be as follows: At 23°C/73°F: Approx. 1 hr. 40 min., At 0°C/32°F: Approx. 1 hr. 20 min. Final Image Simulation The final image simulation reflects the effects of the Picture Style, white balance, etc., in the movie image so you can see what the captured movie will look like. During movie shooting, the movie image will automatically reflect the settings listed below.
