Performing Infrared Communication You can print photos in your mobile phone through infrared communication. When performing infrared communication, also refer to your mobile phone manual. 1 Prepare to print. (1) Turn ON the machine and load the paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder. See "Loading Paper" on page 23. 2 Specify the necessary print settings. (See page 65) 3 Start Infrared Communication. (1) Oppose the infrared port of the mobile phone to that of the machine at a distance of less than 20 cm (7.87 in.). Note z The effective angle of the infrared port of the machine is about 10° from the central axis in both vertical and horizontal directions. z The allowable distance of communication with the machine depends on the mobile phone you use. Printing Photos From A Wireless Communication Device

You can print photos in your mobile phone through infrared communication.
When performing infrared communication, also refer to your mobile phone manual.

Prepare to print.
(1)
Turn ON the machine and load the paper in the Auto Sheet Feeder.
See “Loading Paper” on page 23.

Specify the necessary print settings. (See page 65)

Start Infrared Communication.
(1)
Oppose the infrared port of the mobile phone to that of the machine at a distance of less
than 20 cm (7.87 in.).
(A) Infrared port of machine
(B) Less than 20 cm (7.87 in.) (Do not block with any obstacle.)
(C) Effective angle (in both vertical and horizontal direction): About 10°
(D) Infrared port of mobile phone
Note
The effective angle of the infrared port of the machine is about 10°
from the central axis in both vertical and horizontal directions.
The allowable distance of communication with the machine depends
on the mobile phone you use. For this distance, refer to your mobile
phone manual.
