Creates a directory to store the consolidated package and subpackages. This directory must be created in most cases because the consolidated packages and subpackages have to be separated from the subpackages that booted the router at this step of the procedure. Specifies the Gigabit Ethernet TFTP source-interface to be configured: slot/port-Specifies the location of the TFTP source-interface. Note To copy a file using TFTP through the Management Ethernet interface, the ip tftp source-interface GigabitEthernet 0 command must be entered before entering the copy tftp command. Copies the consolidated package file into the directory created in Step 2. The consolidated package in this step should not be copied into the same directory where the subpackages that are currently running your router are stored (the directory containing the packages.conf provisioning file from which the router was booted). Specifies the Gigabit Ethernet TFTP source-interface to be
configured:
slot/port
—Specifies the location of the TFTP
source-interface.
Note
To copy a file using TFTP through the Management
Ethernet interface, the
ip tftp source-interface
GigabitEthernet 0
command must be entered
before entering the
copy tftp
command.
Step 4
copy tftp:

Copies the consolidated package file into the directory
