Evaluating and Implementing Compaq Data Center Solutions for Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server 23 Installing Compaq Support Software The Compaq Support Paq for Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server automatically installs when the server software installs. This software contains device drivers, agents and utilities that take advantage of specific capabilities offered on Compaq products. These drivers are provided for use with Compaq hardware only. To run the Compaq Support Paq for Windows 2000 Datacenter Server: 1. Click Start, then click Run. 2. Type: C:\CSP\SETUP.EXE Select the components to update or to install, then click Install. 3. Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. Updating the Compaq Support Software The latest software enhancements and fixes available for the Compaq Data Center Solution are posted on the Compaq Data Center Support Software website. To obtain the appropriate Compaq support software for your system, follow these procedures: 1. Go to the Compaq Data Center Software Download Center website (http://www.compaq.com/support/files/datacenter/us/index.html). 2. Select your server from the Family drop-down list box, select Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter from the Operating System drop-down list box, and click the Go button. This procedure takes you to the Locate page, listing the available software by categories. Click the appropriate category link for the software you want to download (see Table 3 for category contents). Table 3.
