2. The top of each spindle pulley is marked with an arrow. See Adjustments Figure 6-6. The arrows should be perpendicular (at a 90˚ angle) to each other. WARNING! Shut the engine OFF and remove the ignition key (if equipped) before making adjustments. Handle Height The upper handle is secured to two support bars that can be adjusted to raise or lower the handle height. Adjust if necessary as follows: 1. Remove the upper star knob (a) and carriage screw (b) on the right side of the handle and the left side of the handle. See Figure 6-7. Figure 6-6 3. If the arrows on the surface of each spindle pulley are not perpendicular (at a 90˚ angle) to each other, see your Cub Cadet dealer to have the deck's blade timing belt reset. WARNING! If the arrows on the surface of each spindle pulley are not
perpendicular (at a 90˚ angle) to each other, see your Cub
Cadet dealer to have the deck’s blade timing belt reset.
WARNING!
Do not operate the machine without
the deck’s blade timing belt properly set. Failure to

or property damage.
Adjustments
