Configuring Servers Configuring Servers Note: If you do not intend to host any public Internet servers (Web Server, Mail Server etc.) in your network, you can skip this section. Using the NetDefend Portal, you can selectively allow incoming network connections into your network. For example, you can set up your own Web server, Mail server or FTP server. Note: Configuring servers allows you to create simple Allow and Forward rules for common services, and it is equivalent to creating Allow and Forward rules in the Rules page. For information on creating rules, see Using Rules on page 209. To allow a service to be run on a specific host 1. Click Security in the main menu, and click the Servers tab.
