Section 3 - Configuration Interface Event Settings This page allows you to specify what should happen when an event is triggered, like when motion is detected by a camera. The NVR will then perform the specified action, such as sending an e-mail notification. For Camera Event Settings and System Event Settings: Step 1: Select an Event: Connection Check the box to send an alert when a connection is lost. Lost: Motion Check the box to send an alert when motion is detected. Detected: Digital Input: Check the box to send an alert when the signal voltage is above or below a specific threshold. Hard Disk Check to enable an alert when the HDD is full. When the overwrite Space Full: function is not enabled, the NVR will just stop recording when the HDD is full and send an alert. Hard Disk Check the box to send an alert when there is an error with the hard disk. Error: Fan Error: Check the box to send an alert when there is a fan error. Step 2: Select a corresponding Event Action: Buzzer: Check this box if you want the sound of a buzzer to signal an alert. E-Map: Check this box to trigger an update of the camera status on the E-Map. (This action only applies to camera events.) E-Mail: Check this option to have e-mail sent to a specified SMTP account after an event is triggered. D-Link DNR-312L User Manual 44
