Procedure 1 Align the screw holes on the keyboard daughter board with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly. 2 Replace the screws that secure the keyboard daughter board to the palm-rest assembly. 3 Connect the keyboard cable, the keyboard-backlight cable, and the touchpad cable to the keyboard daughter board and press down on the latches to secure the cables. Postrequisites 1 Follow step 5 to step 9 in "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page 49. 2 Replace the tertiary hard drive. Procedure
1
Align the screw holes on the keyboard daughter board with the screw holes on
the palm-rest assembly.
2
Replace the screws that secure the keyboard daughter board to the
palm-rest assembly.
3
Connect the keyboard cable, the keyboard-backlight cable, and the touchpad cable to
the keyboard daughter board and press down on the latches to secure the cables.
Postrequisites
1
Follow step 5 to step 9 in "Replacing the Palm Rest" on page 49.

Replace the tertiary hard drive. See "Replacing the Third Hard Drive (Optional)" on
