CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface (such as a connector on your computer). Removing the Audio Video (AV) Board Cable 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the back cover (see Removing the Back Cover). 3. Follow the instructions from step 2 to step 5 in Removing the Front Stand. 4. Remove the AV board shield (see Removing the Audio Video (AV) Board Shield). 5. Disconnect the AV board cable from the connector on the AV Board. 1 AV board cable 6. Remove the AV board (see Removing the Audio Video (AV) Board). 7. Remove the system board (see Removing the System Board). 8. Remove the display panel (see Removing the Display Panel). 9. Make note of the AV board cable routing and release the cable from the securing tapes. 10. Remove the AV board cable from the routing guide. Replacing the Audio Video (AV) Board Cable 1. Follow the instructions in Before You Begin. 2. Route the AV board cable through the routing guide and secure it with the tapes. 3. Replace the system board (see Replacing the System Board). 4. Replace the display panel (see Replacing the Display Panel).

Follow the instructions in
Before You Begin

Remove the back cover (see
Removing the Back Cover
).
3.
Follow the instructions from
step 2
to
step 5
in
Removing the Front Stand
.
4.
Remove the AV board shield (see
Removing the Audio Video (AV) Board Shield
).
5.
Disconnect the AV board cable from the connector on the AV Board.
6.
Remove the AV board (see
Removing the Audio Video (AV) Board
).
7.
Remove the system board (see
Removing the System Board
).
8.
Remove the display panel (see
Removing the Display Panel
).
9.
Make note of the AV board cable routing and release the cable from the securing tapes.
10.
Remove the AV board cable from the routing guide.
Replacing the Audio Video (AV) Board Cable
1.
Follow the instructions in

2.
Route the AV board cable through the routing guide and secure it with the tapes.
3.
Replace the system board (see
Replacing the System Board
).
4.
Replace the display panel (see
Replacing the Display Panel
).
