Removing the Coin-Cell Battery WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your computer and follow the steps in "Before You Begin" on page 9. CAUTION: Removing the coin-cell battery resets the BIOS settings to default. It is recommended that you note the BIOS settings before removing the coin-cell battery. Prerequisites Remove the computer cover. See "Removing the Computer Cover" on page 15. Procedure 1 Locate the battery socket on the system board.
