Getting Started Connections Playback Basic Operations Memo Function Utility Specifications Memo Export (Exporting Memo Data) 1 At the top menu in the Memo, turn the PARAMETERS knob or Scratch disc select "MEMO Export". When there is no preset data on the external USB memory device: The export operation is performed. When there is preset data on the external USB memory device: Step 2. 2 Select the setting item. When "OK" is selected: The export operation is performed. The progress bar is displayed so you can check the progress. When it is completed, the screen in step 1 reappears. When "Cancel" is selected: The screen in step 1 reappears. Initialize This utility can be used to format the external USB memory device connected to the DN-S1200. It can also be used to restore the presettings and memo data to the factory defaults. Initialize Mode 1 At the top menu in the Utility mode, turn the PARAMETERS knob or Scratch disc and select "Initialize". 2 Press the PARAMETERS button again to enter. The "Initialize" list is displayed. S1200 Init. 1 At the top menu in the Initialization, turn the PARAMETERS knob or Scratch disc and select "S1200 Init.". b The unit is set to the factory default mode. 2 Press the PARAMETERS button again to enter. A confirmation message appears on the screen. When "OK" is selected: Factory Default. When "Cancel" is selected: The screen in step 1 reappears. NOTE • When this operation is performed, all the data on the DN-S1200 is deleted. • Be very careful before performing this operation. USB Format (Formatting External USB Memory Devices) 1 At the top menu in the Initialization, turn the PARAMETERS knob or Scratch disc and select "USB Format". b The DN-S1200 is set to the Format mode. 2 Press the PARAMETERS button again to enter. A confirmation message appears on the screen. When "OK" is selected: Formatting starts. When formatting starts, a progress bar is displayed, allowing you to follow the progress.
