ENGLISH Connections Connecting the XM terminal • DRA-397 is the XM Ready® receiver. You can receive XM® Satellite Radio by connecting to the XM Mini-Tuner and Home Dock (includes home antenna, sold separately) and subscribing to the XM service. • Plug the XM Mini-Tuner Home Dock into XM terminal on the rear panel. • Position the Home Dock antenna near a south-facing window to receive the best signal. For details, see "XM Satellite Radio" ( page 14). When making connections, also refer to the operating instructions of the XM Mini-Tuner and Home Dock. XM Mini-Tuner and Home Dock Connecting the iPod® Connections When using an iPod, you must connect the Control Dock for iPod (ASD-1R, sold separately) and the DOCK CONTROL jack on the DRA-397 with a mini-jack and assign the iPod to any AUDIO terminal(s). The diagram below shows an example of connections for when the iPod is assigned to the CD-R/TAPE terminals. For instructions on assigning the iPod to a specific terminal, see "Setting the iPod Assignment" ( page 15). When using an iPod, you must connect the Control Dock for iPod (ASD-1R, sold separately) and the DOCK
CONTROL jack on the DRA-397 with a mini-jack and assign the iPod to any AUDIO terminal(s).
