ENGLISH Function Setup Menu Setting items Options Descriptions Delay Time This is a parameter for optimizing the timing at which the sound is output from the speakers according to their distance from the listening position. This measure system will be used for "Delay Time" setting. Press [ENTER] to switch the setting. Select the distance from the listening point to the speaker to get the ideal delay time. Surround (L/R) 0ft - 60ft (10ft*) (0m-18m (3.0m*)) Surround Back (L/R) 0ft - 60ft (10ft*) (0m-18m (3.0m*)) Default Select "Default", then press [ENTER], to reset the "Delay Time" setting to the default. • Settings with (*) are the default. • For "Speaker Configuration", if you set "Front" to "Small", you cannot set "Center", "Surround" and "Surround Back" to "Large". • For "Speaker Configuration", if you set "Surround" to "Small", you cannot set "Surround Back" to "Large". • For "Delay Time", the difference between the value of the "Front (L/R)", "Surround (L/R)" and "Surround Back (L/R)" setting cannot exceed 15 ft (4.5m), and the difference between the value of the "Front (L/R)" and "Center" setting cannot exceed 5 ft (1.5m). • For "Delay Time", the value of the "Center", "Surround (L/R)" and "Surround Back (L/R)" setting cannot exceed the value of the "Front (L/R)" setting. • For "Delay Time", the setting of "Center", "Surround (L/R)" and "Surround Back (L/R)" will be changed automatically to the setting value of the "Front (L/R)". (e.g., If the "Front (L/R)" is set to 60ft (18m), the setting of "Center", "Surround (L/R)" and "Surround Back (L/R)" will be changed to 60ft (18m) as well.) Ⅵ Ratings Ratings control allows you to set a limit, which prevents your children from viewing inappropriate materials. Playback will stop if the ratings exceed the levels you set, and it will require you to enter a password before the disc will play back. 1) Use [Y / Z] to select , then press [ENTER]. RATING EXPLANATIONS • All : Parental control is inactive; all discs can play back. • 8 [Adult] : DVD software of any grades (adult/general/children) can be played back. • 7 [NC-17] : No one under 17 admitted. • 6 [R] : Restricted; under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian. • 5 [PGR] : Parental guidance recommended. • 4 [PG13] : Unsuitable for children under 13. • 3 [PG] : Parental guidance suggested. • 2 [G] : General audience. • 1 [Kid Safe] : Suitable for children.
