III-3-8. Advanced Advanced features of the BR-6208AC can be configured from the "Advanced" menu. III-3-8-1. Static Routing Static routing is a method of configuring path selection of routers, characterized by the absence of communication between routers regarding the current topology of the network. The opposite of static routing is dynamic routing, sometimes also referred to as adaptive routing. You can configure static routing and manually add routes to the routing table shown below. 92

Static Routing
Static routing is a method of configuring path selection of routers,
characterized by the absence of communication between routers regarding
the current topology of the network. The opposite of static routing is dynamic
routing, sometimes also referred to as adaptive routing.
You can configure static routing and manually add routes to the routing table
shown below.
