Solving Miscellaneous Printout Problems The image is inverted. Turn off Flip Horizontal in the Advanced window or the mirror setting in your program. (If you're printing on EPSON Iron-On Cool Peel Transfer Paper, the image should be inverted.) The printer prints blank pages. s Make sure your printer is selected, or is the active printer in the Macintosh Chooser. s The print head nozzles may need cleaning. See page 66. The margins are incorrect. s Make sure the paper settings are correct for your paper size. See the on-screen Reference Guide for instructions. s See your software documentation for instructions on choosing the correct margins for your paper size. The margins must be within the printable area of the page. See "Printer Specifications" in your on-screen Reference Guide. Image size or position is incorrect. s Make sure paper and layout options are set correctly. s Your digital camera images may not match the width/height proportions (aspect ratio) of the paper size or layout you're using. Images may be cropped or trimmed around the edges to fit the paper and layout. You see incorrect characters. s Make sure the USB cable is securely connected and meets the system requirements on page 93 or page 94. Then try printing again. s Make sure your printer is selected in your software, or is set as the active printer in the Macintosh Chooser. s If you're using a switch box or USB hub with your printer, connect the printer directly to your computer. 87
