Word Processing ESC a NLQ Justification Format: ASCII code: ESC a n Decimal: 27 a n Hexadecimal: 1B 61 n Comments: The following values can be used for n: 0: Selects left justification. 1: Selects centering. 2: Selects right justification. 3: Selects full justification. The default setting is n = 0. Full justification (n = 3) is performed when the buffer becomes full or when one of the following is received: CR, VT, LF, FE The commands HT and BS are invalid except in n = 0 mode. For n = 3 there must be no carriage returns within a paragraph. Justification can be used in NLQ only, not draft. Character Sets ESC t Select Character Table Format: ASCII code: ESC t n Decimal: 27 116 n Hexadecimal: 1 B 74 n Comments: The following values can be used for n: 0: Selects italic character set. 1: Selects Epson Character Graphics. Selects which character table is to be used by codes 128-255. Selecting Epson Character Graphics does not disable italic printing. Italic printing can still be selected by ESC 4.
