When the light first turns on you have approximately four to five hours of battery life left. See page 7 to replace the batteries. The BATT light is calibrated for alkaline batteries. If you are using rechargeable batteries to power the transmitter, the BATT light may turn on prematurely. The receiver is receiving a stereo signal from the transmitter. The receiver is receiving a surround signal from the transmitter. The receiver is not receiving an audio signal from the transmitter.
