Changing the GHC 10 System Options To change system options on the GHC 10, from the Heading screen select Menu > Setup > System. Units-set the units of measure used to represent different values displayed on the GHC 10. • System Units-select Statute (mi, ft), Metric (km, m), or Nautical (nm, ft) to define the units of measure. • Helm Displacement-select Cubic Inches (cu in) or Cubic Centimeters (cc). Heading-set the reference used in calculating heading information. • Magnetic-sets magnetic north as the heading reference. • True-sets true north as the heading reference. Variance-only available when the heading is set to True. You can adjust the variance from true north. • Auto-automatically sets true north as the heading reference • Change Variance-manually adjust the heading reference. Beeper-set when the GHC 10 makes audible sounds. Auto Power-select if the unit powers on with the NMEA 2000 network. Language-select the on-screen language. System Information-view unit software information. Factory Defaults-reset the unit to factory defaults. NOte: If the GHC 10 is in demo mode, this setting appears as End Demo.
