C-2. Configuring Legacy RAID ROM Enter the legacy RAID BIOS setup utility to configure a RAID array. Skip this step and proceed with the installation of Windows operating system for a non-RAID configuration. Steps: After the POST memory test begins and before the operating system boot begins, look for a message which looks like that in Figure 8 below. Press + to enter the RAID BIOS setup utility. Enter the legacy RAID BIOS setup utility to configure a RAID array. Skip this step and proceed with the installation
of Windows operating system for a non-RAID configuration.
Steps:
After the POST memory test begins and before the operating system boot begins, look for a message which
looks like that in Figure 8 below. Press <Ctrl> + <R> to enter the RAID BIOS setup utility.

To create a new array, press <Enter> on the
Create Array
option. (Figure 9)
