PERIPHERAL CONNECTION AND CONTROLS PERIPHERAL CONNECTION UNDER CONTROL INPUT MENU VOL+ VOL- CH+ CH· POWER II t . l ~ I :.l..U.!laJ Connect headphones to this jack. 1 HEADPHONE When headphones are inserted, the TV speakers will be muted. 2 COAXIAL Connect a coaxial audio cable from a sound bar, stereo system, receiver, etc. 3 L R Connect the audio cables for a component or composite device. 4 VIDEO Connect the video cable for a composite device. 5 YPbPr Connect the video cables for a component device. 6 HDMI1 Connect HDMI devices to these jacks. An HDMI cable carries both 7 HDMI2 video and sound. You do not need to make an audio connection for an HDMI device. Note: The HDMI3 8 HDMI3(MHL) port is MHL enabled. 9 VGA 10 PC AUDIO 11 RF 12 USB Connect the video cable from a computer. Connect the audio cable from a computer. Connect an antenna or cable TV cable to this jack. Insert a USB storage device to the USB port to view JPEG photos, and listen to MP3 music. {See page 16 for more information.) Press to open or close the on-screen menu. Press to increase the volume level. Press to decrease the volume level. Press to go to the next channel in the channel list. Press to go to the previous channel in the channel list. Press to turn the TV on or off {standby mode). When the TV is off, power still flows through it. To completely disconnect power, unplug the power cord. 8
