Troubleshooting - breakfast sandwich maker

Page 7 highlights

Troubleshooting PROBLEM Low, poor, or slow heating. Cooking too slow. Egg undercooked, bread not done. Egg overcooked, bread too brown. Ingredients stick to rings or cooking plate. PROBABLE CAUSE/SOLUTION • Allow breakfast sandwich maker to heat for 5 to 7 minutes before use. Green READY light should come on indicating unit is preheated. • Ensure ring assembly is fully installed. Ensure that the cooking plate is rotated completely in between rings during preheating. • Extra large eggs, frozen, or very cold ingredients may lengthen cooking time. Add additional cooking time. • Higher fat content bread, fewer ingredients, scrambled eggs, egg whites, and precooked ingredients may shorten cooking time. Reduce cooking time for future recipes. • Use a plastic or wooden utensil to loosen any baked-on ingredients. Lightly spray with cooking spray before preheating for next use. 840222700 ENv04.indd 7 Visit www.hamiltonbeach.com for our complete line of products and Use and Care Guides - as well as delicious recipes, tips, and to register your product online! 7 12/20/12 4:32 PM
