Refer to "Battery replacement notice (on page 62)" before installing or removing any item that contains a battery pack. IMPORTANT: Whether you are replacing the main cache battery or the secondary (lower) cache battery, remove both batteries so that the board circuitry recognizes the new battery pack. 1. Close all applications, and then power down the server. This procedure flushes all data from the cache. 2. Remove the cache module: a.
