Description ATI Mobility FireGL V5725 nVidia Quadro FX 2700M nVidia Quadro FX 3700M Spare part number 493982-001 493983-001 493984-001 Before removing the graphics card, follow these steps: 1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system. 2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer. 3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer. 4. Remove the following components: a. Battery (see Battery on page 41) b. Keyboard (see Keyboard on page 54) c. Switch cover (see Switch cover on page 58) d. Fan (see Fan on page 60) e. Graphics card heat sink (Graphics card heat sink on page 60) Remove the graphics card: 1. Remove the two PM2.5×4.0 screws (1) that secure the graphics card to the system board. 2. Lift the front edge of the graphics card (2) until it clears the adjacent edge of the top cover. Component replacement procedures 63

Before removing the graphics card, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and
then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:

Remove the graphics card:
1.
Remove the two PM2.5×4.0 screws
(1)
that secure the graphics card to the system board.
2.
Lift the front edge of the graphics card
(2)
until it clears the adjacent edge of the top cover.
