Turning on the monitor

● You can choose to use a DisplayPort cable for your video signal. Route the DisplayPort cable through the stand and attach it to the DisplayPort connector on the rear of the monitor and the other end to the DisplayPort connector on the source device (1). Connect one end of a USB cable to the USB Type-C connector on the back of the monitor and connect the other end to the USB connector on the source device (2). Then connect one end of the power cord to the AC adapter (3) and the other end to a grounded AC outlet (4). IMPORTANT: If you are using a DisplayPort cable as your signal cable, you must also attach a USB cable between the USB Type-C connector on the back of the monitor and either a USB Type-C connector or USB connector on the source device. A USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable and a USB Type-C to USB cable are included with your monitor. NOTE: The video mode is determined by the video cable used. The monitor automatically determines which inputs have valid video signals. You can select the inputs through the OSD menu. The monitor ships with select cables. Not all cables shown in this section are included with the monitor.
