When there are multiple applet windows opened, switching back and forth between the partition pages and applet windows, the virtual media connection may get disconnected. You must reconnect the partition to the virtual media if you encounter this problem. SHOW PARTITION DVD From the CLI • Command: SHOW PARTITION DVD {nPartition number or name [:vPartition name or number] | ALL} • Description: Displays the DVD connection status for the specified partition. If ALL is provided, the command displays the DVD connections for the whole complex. • Access level/Bay level: OA Administrator, OA Operator • Restriction: You must be connected to the monarch OA. From the GUI To get information about any DVDs or vMedia that is attached to a partition, go to that particular partition page, and select the Virtual Devices tab.
