Installing the System Setting Up the hp Integrity Superdome or hp 9000 Superdome NOTE The procedure in this section requires two people and must be performed with the front metal chassis door open. To install the front door assembly: Step 1. Open the door, unsnap the screen, and remove all the filters held in place with Velcro. Step 2. Remove the cabinet keys that are taped inside the top front door bezel. Step 3. Insert the shoulder studs on the lower door bezel into the holes on the front door metal chassis. Using a Torx 10 driver, secure the lower door bezel to the front door chassis with 10 of the screws provided (Hewlett-Packard P/N 0515-0372). Insert all screws loosely, then torque them after the bezel is aligned. Step 5. While one person holds the upper door bezel near the door chassis, attach the ribbon cable to the back of the control panel on the bezel and tighten the two flathead screws. 44 Chapter 2

Installing the System

NOTE
The procedure in this section requires two people and must be performed with the front metal
chassis door open.
To install the front door assembly:
Step 1.
Open the door, unsnap the screen, and remove all the filters held in place with Velcro.
Step 2.
Remove the cabinet keys that are taped inside the top front door bezel.
Step 3.
Insert the shoulder studs on the lower door bezel into the holes on the front door metal chassis.

Step 4.
Using a Torx 10 driver, secure the lower door bezel to the front door chassis with 10 of the screws
provided (Hewlett-Packard P/N 0515-0372). Insert all screws loosely, then torque them after the
bezel is aligned.
Step 5.
While one person holds the upper door bezel near the door chassis, attach the ribbon cable to the
back of the control panel on the bezel and tighten the two flathead screws.
