NOTE: You must use MultiPath software if you have redundant paths connected to your Fibre Channel storage. Installing more than one HBA per cluster provides multiple connections between the clusters and your shared storage (see Figure 2-1). Multiple HBAs, along with MultiPath software, are highly recommended because they provide continuous access to your storage system and eliminate single points of failure. 8. Locate your HP Fibre Channel switch firmware, and verify that you have the latest supported version installed. 9. Verify that you have sufficient administrative rights to install the OS and other software onto each node. 10.
