Uninstalling HPPP from HP-UX systems To uninstall HPPP: 1. From the command line, execute the following command: mc2 -uninstall For example: # /opt/HP/HP Power Protector/mc2 -uninstall 2. Enter Y to proceed with the uninstallation. 3. Enter Y to remove all files created by the application. 4. Enter Y to confirm removing Power Protector. NOTE: Some files might remain following the uninstallation and can be removed manually. Installation 43

Uninstalling HPPP from HP-UX systems
To uninstall HPPP:
1.
From the command line, execute the following command:
<HPPP install path>mc2 –uninstall
For example:
# /opt/HP/HP Power Protector/mc2 -uninstall
2.
Enter
Y
to proceed with the uninstallation.
3.
Enter
Y
to remove all files created by the application.
4.
Enter
Y
to confirm removing Power Protector.
NOTE:
Some files might remain following the uninstallation and can be removed manually.
