Removing an Expansion Card To remove a Secure Digital (SD) expansion card from the expansion slot on the HP iPAQ: 1. Close all programs that are using the expansion card. 2. Remove the card from the expansion slot by slightly pushing down on the card to unlock it. 3. When the card disengages and pops up, pull it from the expansion slot. CAUTION: SD cards must be unlocked before removal. To remove a Compact Flash (CF) expansion card from the expansion slot on the HP iPAQ, pull it from the expansion slot. NOTE: HP recommends inserting the protective plastic cards that came with your HP iPAQ into the expansion slots when they are not in use. 58

Removing an Expansion Card
To remove a Secure Digital (SD) expansion card from the expansion slot
on the HP iPAQ:
1.
Close all programs that are using the expansion card.
2.
Remove the card from the expansion slot by
slightly pushing
down on the card
to unlock it.
3.
When the card disengages and pops up, pull it from the
expansion slot.
