Load documents 1. Extend the document feeder and output tray. a. Locate the recessed gray document feeder extension at the top of the input tray, and then press down at the arrow and release to extend the document feeder. b. Slide out the output tray, and then fold out the output tray extension and paper guides. 2. Adjust the paper guides on the document feeder to the width of the documents. Take care not to overtighten the guides, which can restrict paper feeding.
