4/256 SAN Director blade support Fabric OS 6.0.1a is fully qualified and supports the Director blades listed in Table 2. Table 2 4/256 SAN Director blade support matrix with chassis option 5 Director blade FC4-16 FC4-32 FC4-48 FC8-16 FC10-6 Number of blades FC4-16, FC4-32 and FC4-48 require Fabric OS 5.3 or later with any mix (up to eight of each). No restrictions around intermix. FC8-16 and FC10-6 require Fabric OS 6.0.0b minimum. FC4-16IP Up to a maximum of four Director blades (must be FC4-16IP or FR4-18i only) FR4-18i Up to a maximum of two Director blades (FR4-18i only) Note: The FR4-18i installed in the DC Director requires Fabric OS 6.0.0b or later. DC Director blade support Fabric OS 6.0.1a is fully qualified and supports the blades for the DC Director blades listed in Table 3. Table 3 DC Director blade support matrix Director blade FC8-16 FC8-32 FC8-48 FC10-6 Number of blades Supported with Fabric OS 6.0.0b and later with any mix (up to eight of each). FR4-18i Supported with Fabric OS 6.0.0b and later, up to a maximum of four blades of this type. NOTE: The iSCSI FC4-16IP blade is not qualified for the DC Director in Fabric OS 6.0.1a.
