3. TOOLS Cleaning tools The cleaning tools are conveniently stored on the hose handle. A tool may be attached to either the hose or wand by pushing it firmly onto the hose end or the end of the wand. Twist tool slightly to tighten or loosen the connection. The cleaning tools have many uses. Select the tool best suited for the cleaning task from the following descriptions. Select the Proper Tool A. Telescoping Extension Wand: The telescoping extension wand can be lengthened or shortened by pushing the button in and and sliding the wand apart or together as required. B. Crevice Tool: May be used in tight spaces, corners, and along edges in such places as dresser drawers, upholstered furniture, stairs and baseboards. C. Dusting brush: May be used for carved furniture, table tops, books, lamps, lighting fixtures, venetian blinds, baseboards, shutters, and registers. D. Power Nozzle: May be used for carpets, rugs and hard floor surfaces. Brushroll on: Vacuums carpets. Brushroll off: Vacuums hard floors. 3.1 A C B D E ! CAUTION ! Not to be used for grooming a pet E. Hard FloorTool: Use hard floor tool to vacuum hardwood, laminate and ceramic floors. Attaching Tools 3.2 Tools may be attached directly to the hand grip or to the telescoping wand. Firmly push tool into the hand grip or wand. Twist tool slightly to tighten or loosen connection. 3.2 Tool Storage 3.3 The cleaning tools are conveniently stored on hose handle. 3.3 Cord Rewind/ Storage 3.4 To return cord for storage, unplug from wall, hold plug and press down Cord Rewind Pedal (A). !
