Using downloaded rating information The V-Chip recognizes the current Rating Region Tables (RRT), which is communicated as part of the Program and System Information Protocol (PSIP). It depends on broadcasts which could communicate a new rating system through the PSIP that both the chip and a TV's software can understand. Using downloaded rating information
